On an average size project, the parameter that has the largest effect on pricing is panel size. It really is a simple concept; it takes about the same amount of time to fabricate a small panel as it does a large panel. Let us look at an example:

In addition to the fabrication time, more extrusions, sealant, and several other items are required because the length of perimeter around all of the panels is much higher with 25 panels versus only two. And the installation cost differential will be even higher. While this is a simple example, the concept is clear. If you are concerned about cost, use larger panels.

On-screen takeoff software is becoming more and more common throughout construction. It can be used by just about everyone involved in the industry; architects, designers, specifiers, general contractors, and the many specialized subcontractors. Located just 3 miles from MillerClapperton headquarters, this $33 M multipurpose facility offers programs and activities for the entire community and it features a 600-seat auditorium, bowling alley, gym, and recording and dance studios among other amenities. Word of Faith’s Riverside EpiCenter features over 60,000 sq ft of MCM in seven colors. These MCM panels are 4mm thick with a fire retardant (FR) core and Kynar finish.

Loudoun Station Parking Structure
MillerClapperton is currently installing over 32,000 square-feet of panels on the Loudoun Station Garage.
