Work Complete On 51-story South Florida Condo Tower
Miller Clapperton recently completed work at Jade Beach, an upscale residential tower in Sunny Isles, FL. The project features 35,000 SF of Alucobond's Fire Resistant Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) panels in "Sunstorm Arcadia Silver".
There are ACM clad "fins" on each of the 51 floors with all internal steel framing designed and provided by Miller Clapperton. Among the many challenges the elaborate porte cochere presented were a substructure that changed by +/-1" throughout the day due to thermal expansion and a radial design that necessitated extensive field measuring and implementation.
Jade Beach was designed by Revuelta Vega Leon. The General Contractor was Pavarini Construction Company.
Tom Stassie managed the project for Miller Clapperton.
